What is Happiness?
Wikipedia describes Happiness as so:
“Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.”
Happiness is a feeling of inner peace and fulfilment. It is experienced when there are no doubt, fear, uncertainty and worries. It arises when we do something we are passionate about, something we love doing or when we achieve a goal. Happiness comes from the inside generated by external circumstances.
It is our attitude that makes us happy or unhappy. It is OUR choice to have a happy life.
We encounter diverse situations each day and some of them might not contribute to happiness. However, it is in our ability to choose our thoughts about these events. Refusing thinking negatively and not let these negative circumstances influence our reactions and feelings will help us to feel happy.
The best way to stay happy is by obtaining inner peace through meditation. Meditating every day calm our mind, restore our positiveness, faith and confidence. As the mind becomes calmer and more peaceful, it is easier to get into the happiness routine.

Let us face it, living in the real world, it is difficult to maintain a healthy self-esteem because it seems at every corner one turns, someone is there to try to knock him or her down.
With this in mind, we must work harder to build self-esteem by learning positive affirmations and the benefits of rewarding oneself for his or her good deeds. Moreover, we must manipulate through the process of personal transformation in order to make constructive changes that lead us to success.

Yoga practices will help build your self-esteem, discipline, self-control, confidence and other healthy traits. It is difficult to maintain a healthy self-esteem while adjusting to personal transformations that allow us to better our life. Because so many people in the world prey on those that work toward a better way of life, we are all in danger of being torn down by others on a daily basis. Still, we have the power to change this pattern by staying away from negative people that hold us back from our progress. Thus, we want to build positive relationships with others. Particularly, one must cultivate positive friends and mates that will support you through the process of self-development. We mention self-development because in order to build self-esteem through personal transformation, one must also cultivate other fruitages of his or her personal qualities.
Self-esteem is defined as our value we put on self. IT is our sense of worth that builds our confidence and self-respect. We cannot have a healthy self-esteem without building the confidence and self-respect. The three work in unison to keep us sound in mind. Our pride is factor into building self-esteem. This is because our pride causes various feelings and thoughts to develop. For instance, when you see someone with an arrogant attitude, this person has an unhealthy level of pride that affects self and others.

If you focus on lack, you attract lack as well, if you focus on abundance, you attract abundance.
When you have limiting beliefs you limit the prosperity and abundance from your life.
For example, thinking that you are going to be wealthy is pointless if you don’t believe it.
When you believe and trust that anything is possible, there is not limit, you can achieve and receive everything you desire.
If you have a positive mind set, you attract positivity in your life, if you have a negative mind set you attract negativity in your life. Therefore, for manifestation purposes it’s very important to know your thoughts, both positive and negative.
All thoughts create a feeling. Feelings generate the energy that forms the “magnet” that draws what comes into your lives.
The way you feel everyday is a very important part for attracting what you want in your life.
Feeling good and happy, always believing and trusting that you can get what you desire and removing doubt, is the key to receiving.
